Bought a little place down by the Garbage Corridor House was nice, the yard was big, it was all we could afford Couldn’t see the rubbish. Couldn’t smell it rot And when we saw that picket fence, we thought we reached the top Poison, plastic islands rolling up to every shore Marshlands turned to wastelands by 2034 Pools of precious metals in contaminated parks Why pile it in corners? Just aim it at the mark! (Chorus) Shoot it at the Sun. Shoot it at the Sun When you don’t know what to do with it, just, shoot it at the Sun Shoot it at the Sun. Shoot it at the Sun Ohhh, when you got a problem, just, shoot it at the sun Carbon fiber cables pulling shit up into space Momentum kept it moving till it hit the sun right in the face Machines they got faster. That shit kept piling up And then I smelled the rubbish even with the windows shut Another great idea by the brilliant human race Keep them big ones coming. Never learn from your mistakes Always need a quick fix. Only thinking about today Relatively speaking, you can’t just make it go away! (Chorus 2x) It was beautiful, that solar flare, that breath of fire I hid in the basement, like Vonnegut in Dresden And when I came up nothing but ashes and melted steel. Oh what a mess we left again! (3x)

There is space then theres the universe theyre no the same thing though we think they are when we are young we're just a trace like an old photograph but in our place we crave significance and wonder why There is the earth, then theres the world we have Theyr’e not the same thing though we think they are when time seems scarce She gave us birth. She gave us things to fear brought us happiness with love to give and metaphor (chorus) Stars do their time. Where do they go when they die? What do you fear? We're lucky to be here. And then its gone, and it moves on. The future's past. The shadow’s left beyond There is life, then theres the world we have Theyre not the same thing though we think they are while we're online But we compose, we make discoveries, mathematics, alphabets, formalities

Floating and spinning, in silence, I’m speeding. Useful I once was Lost my way so long ago, searching for the stars you know, I’m floating. Hoping and waiting for presence of passing Useless and drifting, Gravity gets in the way, an old friend getting pulled away I’m hoping. If I fall into the ocean or break off into space I would rather harbor parasites then help the human race Taken all the photographs of your islands and your seas Used me up, got what you needed, now you don’t care about me Don’t care about me.

Spacehead 02:34
SpaceHead I can touch my nose. Moonwalk a straight line. Give me back my keys. I can fly home fine. You better move on over to the cockpit side Take a nap on my lap. Lets go for a ride. We can see a black hole. Hop from star to star. Get in a high speed chase. Let’s go for a ride. You better slide on over to the captain’s side. Have a seat on my lap, let’s go for a ride. (chorus) I wanna fly high with you. Interstellar traveling with you. Asteroids and stars. Cosmic dust and mars. Trippin in space with you. Trippin in space with you.

I am a rocket ship right now. I show the future through a different set of eyes. I see the pyramids below. Low orbit planetary probe. I am a water bear right now. I see the future with a different set of eyes. I am alive in moss and ice. I survived in outer space. (bridge) You took me to another place, you held me hand made me feel safe. Opened up my eyes and mind, First time I knew I did not know This room is dark I have to go, the world is bigger than my own. I’m not the only pea in the pod. I’m the immortal HELA cell. Henrietta’s fighting, farming, feeding playful soul. I survived in outer space. I help heal the human race.

She wore a black veil on our very first trip As we neared a little star aboard our awesome solar rocket ship Didn’t need a stearing wheel just pointed and it went Two hearts in one direction for us that star was meant. Now I ride alone on hybrid busses in the rain Driver, leave me at the next train To a place where I can smile again (bridge_ On that star we held hands, skipped across black sands, climbed magenta cliffs. If I only knew then what I know now, That she was Kali who came to kill that side of me That smelled like damp comfort, oblivion, bad habits and old ways. She did the job laughing on her way out the door With a sickle in one hand, my head in her left, The blood of my heart half eaten, dribbling, down her chin With fire in her Pollock gotcha last eyes. She wore a black veil on our very first trip As we neared a little star aboard our awesome solar rocket ship Didn’t need a steering wheel just pointed and it went Two hearts in one direction for us that star was meant. (3x)

Stranger 03:20
It was a cloudy day - I saw the writing on the wall And when you came to me - I made no fuss at all – I made no fuss at all. Scars for all to see – You smiling, laughing at the bar And when you came for me – I made no fuss at all – I made no fuss at all Violin and Drum – A coiled dollar bill. Secrets you shared with me – I saw the writing on the wall (3x) (chorus) Stranger Stranger, lets fly to outer space – These wings are on fire and I need a cooler place, Where I can see colors and learn a thing or two about you. Stranger, Stranger, I just robbed a bank – The drugs are in the car and there's gas in the tank Lets go on a ride to the planetary side of you … Wings of orange & black, sprawl out of a cocoon How can it happen like that? Maybe you can too … I feel you everywhere – The bloody writing on the wall - The bed we shake and share – Apologies when you're not there (3x) Stranger, Stranger, Have another drink – Cause when you get pourin, I like how you think About Howl and songs during moonlight walks with you. Stranger, Stranger, I didn't hear your words – or maybe you were talkin and I put down the phone I'd rather stay blind and keep taking magic rides with you. Stranger, Stranger lets fly to outer space – These wings are on fire and I need a cooler place Where I can see colors and learn a thing or two about you

Cosmic Jelly 03:51
(spoken word) One day in the not so distant future, human beings will send all of their bad habits in the direction of the sun. And it will be both spectacular and meaningless. Just like two robotisized beings, best friends yet drifting in opposite directions, saying goodbye like we all must do. Meanwhile, a minotaur with Vladamir Putin's head and giant testicles, teamed up with Lance Armstrong and flew into orbit to retrieve earth shifting data from a dying satellite, where they fried a young american astronaut vying for the same bounty. Not far away the party raged on at a night club, where two lovers at the top of their game who had just met, stopped off for a drink and a dance before continuing their road trip fueled by space dust, liquor and passion. Just down the road, the doors opened on a vessel exposing various earthly organisms to solar radiation so humans could see if those tardigrades and cancer cells would live or die. And that couple said goodbye while another group of earthlings expanded their domain, sending to the sun those things that they could not bring.

White balloon falls in front of me I cover it with glue It sticks to me as it comes up off the ground Headin towards the moon (Chorus) Don’t look back. I’m headin to outer space Never look back, I’m goin somewhere new today Don’t look back I’m headin to outer space Never look back I’m goin somewhere new today… I just realized there are some places I cant breath, Like outside our atmosphere It hurts inside as my ribs cave in on me But I am free of fear (Chorus) (Instrumental) (Repeat chorus)

These Things 04:13
Once I saw a ball of fire Shoot across the night sky The most beautiful thing But I never knew why Was it September or was it July I don't remember we were really high I had a girl back then She was pretty and scared I knew nothing And she barely cared We drank, he drove real fast We went on a tear I don't know her now but I'm glad she was there (chorus) Oh, these things Oh, these things. They don't know that they be Oh, these things Oh, these things. They don't know that they be Jolted by a static charge Passing through my hands Positive and negative Bonding in the air Everything is random Nothing can truly be planned Each story has to end as the universe expands (chorus) Once I saw a ball of fire Shoot across the night sky Moments burned to memories Etched in my mind we're aiming for the stars But we can't travel through time I don't remember we were really high Brainwaves transferring Electric charge Particles and theories We were really far Particles and theories We were really high

Its A No Fit (free) 02:18
From Columbus to stuffed peppers we've always been the first Not the Greeks and Vikings? No! It was Italia! We built a place in outer space right next to the moon Its big and round, Its our new town Mundo Spaziale! It may not be on earth But its part of Italy We'll bring our favorite artifacts Like Tore' Di Piza! We knocked it over and brought it down to the garbage corridor They let us try It was too damn wide So we threw it in a pit! (chorus) Its a no fit. Its a no fit We tried to get it on but its a no fit Itsa no fit - its a no fit A shame she couldnt handle Its a no fit Broccoli Rabe, homemade wine, culture identity, Tiramisu, Pavarotti tunes and a couple Ferraris. We needed the Coliseum there so we brought it bit by bit. Couldn't put it back together so we sent it in orbit Its a no fit. Its a no fit We tried to get it on but its a no fit Itsa no fit - its a no fit A shame she couldnt handle Its a no fit Its a no fit. Its a no fit We tried to get it on but its a no fit Itsa no fit - its a no fit We brought a Stratavaria, Georgio Cinaglia, Luca Parmitano but Capella Sistina, Its a no Fit!

about

Inspired by and dedicated to Luca Parmitano, the Italian astronaut who nearly drowned in space, and all humans, past, present and future, who explore the universe in machines made by our own hands. We salute you.
